The 8th edition of the long-distance Cany-Lanex Offshore Cup is scheduled for 14th September 2020. The race is a top-rated event of the Czech national cup series announced by the Czech Sailing Association (CSJ) a member of the World Sailing and organized by the Czech Offshore Yachting Association (CANY). More than 300 nautical mile course starting from and ending in Kühlungsborn around Danish island Bornholm and Christianso is a complex one, with variations in winds and sea conditions offering a serious tactical challenge for crews. 

The race is intended for yachts of LOA ranging from 35 to 38 feet. Starting fee amounts to EUR 260 per boat. Full details about the race can be found on the Notice of Race which is available online.

Those of you who would like to join the race this year we recommend searching boat on the PCO Charter or Mola Charter or 1st Classse charter in Heiligenhafen. The pages are in the German language, however, it can be easily navigated through for those who do not speak German. Subsequent communication with the charter company in English is not a problem at all.

As far as the selection of the ship is concerned, we recommend having a look at the list of registered crews and their results from the past races to get an idea which boat is ideal.
